HOW DO I BOOK A TATTOO WITH YOU?

To request a tattoo appointment simply fill out the booking form. Let me know if you're wanting a flash, flash modification, or custom piece, where you're thinking of getting it, and how big. Attach any reference photos, and let me know if you have a budget.

I will get back to you as soon as possible, letting you know if I can take on the project, how long you can expect it to take, and roughly how much it will cost. I will also send you my available dates for you to choose from.

To secure an appointment you will need to send a deposit. This comes off the final price. It's non-refundable but if you want to move your booking from the initial date and you give me 4 days notice we can transfer it to the updated date. If you let me know within 4 days that you can no longer make your appointment I will need to take another deposit to secure a new date. 

After you have chosen an appointment and sent a deposit I will send you a confirmation email with information on the location of the studio and how to prep for your appointment.

HOW DOES PRICING WORK?

The price of tattoos varies depending on their size, complexity and placement and they reflect my time and skills, and the cost of equipment, studio fees and taxes. 

Your ideas expressed in your booking form don't have to be final, but they help me give you a price estimate. Please note if you change your mind on what to get the price will change to reflect this (i.e if its bigger, or in a more difficult placement). 

Letting me know your budget if you have one can help me let you know what you can expect to get within that. We can simplify designs, reduce size, and choose an easy placement to keep costs down.

HOW DO I PREP FOR A TATTOO APPOINTMENT?

  • Get a good nights sleep
  • Shower and lightly moisturise
  • Wear comfortable clothes with where you want your tattoo easily accessible.
  • Eat a full meal and drink enough water before. 
  • Bring snacks. 
  • Don’t drink caffeine or alcohol 24 hours before or after (thins your blood)
  • Avoid sunbathing (including sun beds) in the run up to getting your tattoo. 
  • Bring entertainment (iPad / book / phone etc). Remember your charger!

HOW DO I LOOK AFTER MY NEW TATTOO?

  • At the end of your appointment, your tattoo will be covered with a protective film that can be worn for up to 3 days. This can be gently removed under running water with clean hands and unscented hypoallergenic soap. After, pat your tattoo dry with a clean paper towel.
  • For the next 2 weeks, apply a thin layer of your chosen aftercare product, (e.g. coconut oil or a gentle, unscented moisturiser) morning and night.
  • Over the next few days the skin will start to flake / peel as the tattoo heals. Please resist the urge to scratch or pick at it!
  • During the healing process, do not submerge your tattoo in water, so no baths, pools, hot tubs or saunas! Also keep your tattoo covered from the sun with clothing for the first 2 weeks, then once healed, use a high spf sunscreen.

DO YOU DO CUSTOM DESIGNS?

Yep! I consider custom designs if they fit my style and aesthetic. I won't take on what I don't think I can do well, but I will try to point you towards another artist who I think would be able to.

I will only send you the drawings I make of your idea once an appointment has been confirmed with a deposit. Please note these drawings are drafts and we will finalise your design together at the beginning of your appointment. 

DO YOU REPEAT DESIGNS?

Some of my flash is repeatable. I will let you know when you request it. I don't like doing the same thing exactly multiple times so suggest we either tweak the design or placement slightly. 

If you request something that isn't repeatable I can custom make something similar for you. 

CAN I CHANGE MY MIND ON WHAT I WANT AFTER I'VE BOOKED?

Of course! Your ideas expressed in your booking form don't have to be final, but they help me give you a time and price estimate. If you change your mind on what to get the price will change to reflect this (i.e if its bigger, or in a more difficult placement). Let me know if you're thinking of getting something different as soon as possible. We might have to reschedule if we need more time to do it. 

DO YOU TATTOO COLOUR INK?

Not for now, sorry! 

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF IM RUNNING LATE TO MY APPOINTMENT?

Let me know as soon as possible! If I have appointments after yours it's a bit of a nightmare if you're late. There is a late fee of £25 if you're 30 minutes late. If you're 50 minutes late we will need to reschedule with a new deposit. 

CAN I MOVE OR CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT?

Yep! If you want to move your booking from the initial date and you give me 4 days notice we can transfer your deposit to the updated date. If you let me know within 4 days that you need to move your appointment I will need to take another deposit to secure a new date. If you wish to cancel your appointment and let me know with more than 4 days notice I will send your deposit back bar a small amount that will go towards admin fees. If you let me know within 4 days of your appointment I will retain the full deposit. 

DO YOU DO TOUCH UPS? 

One touch up is included with your tattoo fee. Send me a picture of it and I'll let you know when I can get you in. 

DO YOU DO COVER UPS?

You are welcome to request a cover up. Send me photos of the work you want covered and the idea you have to cover it with. However if it's not possible with my style, I will let you know that I can't do it.
